Welcome to Twist Club 2022

Dear Members

Thank you for endorsing me as your Twist Club President for 2022 – 2023.

Dress code

At the AGM it was resolved that the wearing of a necktie was optional.

In all other respects the existing dress standards are maintained.

Membership numbers

With the approval of Life Members, the maximum membership limit was last year increased from fifty (50) to sixty (60). Even so, we do already have a waiting list.

If you are intending not to renew, please advise as membership is highly sought after and valued.

Restriction on lunch attendees

Due to State Government Covid restrictions we are, this week at least, limited to forty (40) attendees. I regret that a number of members will miss out on this lunch. The moral is, commit to book early to avoid disappointment.

Given the current Covid restrictions members are limited to bringing one guest at a lunch. The total number of guests will, for the time being, be limited to the first five (5) guests booked in.

Welcoming New Members/Guests

As a reminder, when a new member or a guest is introduced, the member doing so is expected to give a meaningful brief bio/background of the new member/guest.

Yes, the tradition will continue. Indiscretions will be rewarded. Bring cash.

Charity support

This year Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research will be the beneficiary of your munificence/support.
