From the President

Your committee are excited with planning for the Ladies Lunch event at Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club on Sunday 17 July 2023. The following information will be of assistance for your day out.

Start with a glass of Pommery!

Three wine tasting stations will open from 12:00 mid-day.

Aylesbury Estate, Ferguson Valley

Plan B Wines, Margaret River & Ferguson Valley

3 Drops, Mount Barker

Seated lunch with wines will be served from 1:00pm

Closing time - 4:00 pm.

Seating Plan

If you are booking for a group wishing to be seated together, please indicate at time of booking the number of people in the group. Tables will then be reserved for your group. Otherwise there will be free seating at tables of 6 or 8 persons.

Dress code

Weekend smart casual wear is the standard.

To conform with the RFBYC protocol no jeans, tank tops, T shirts or thongs will be admitted.

Ticket Cost for the Ladies Lunch

Members - $120

Wives & partners of members - no cost

Guests and wives/partners - $120 each ie $240 per couple.

Silent Auction of Wines

A change of plan. From the Twist Club Cellar we have 16 boxes each containing 6 bottles of wine. There will be a silent auction for the wines. Each box will have a bidding sheet listing the wines in that particular box. To bid, you will write your name and $ bid on the bidding sheet. Anyone can gazump your bid with a higher bid. The bidding is open for guests as well as wives/partners and members.

All proceeds from the silent auction will go to our 2023 nominated charity, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research.
