About the event
We're privileged to have David Watson with us to present the wines of Woodlands Estate, Wilyabrup, for enjoyment with the always-enjoyable food of Juniper and Bay Restaurant. Amongst other accolades, David and his life partner Heather Watson are joint recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Margaret River Wine Industry Association, and of the prestigious Jack Mann Memorial Medal, awarded annually to those who have made a significant contribution to the WA Wine Industry.
Ray Jordan, WA's premier wine writer and himself a recipient of the Jack Mann Memorial Medal, will be joining us for lunch, and will speak a little to us of his almost 50 years of tasting and writing about the Australian wine industry.
